Sadie was born on February 28th 2008, and joined the 911 dispatchers back in 2008. She was adopted from the Florence Dedman Foundation in Fort Benton, MT. A growing number of centers are using therapy animals—mostly dogs, although cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and even horses can be used—to bring a ray of sunshine and a surge of oxytocin to their emergency dispatchers. Sadie just happens to be Chouteau County 9-1-1 Center's ray of sunshine! Check back often to Sadie's Corner for some educational and interesting videos she has for you!
Sadie the 9-1-1 Center cat here! I am so appreciative of our community and especially Ted Kaste with River Market in Fort Benton. Not only has he been taking care of the humans during Covid-19 but he makes sure the furry friends are also taken care of as well! Thank you Mr. Kaste from my human companions in the 9-1-1 center who have been coming to work everyday as “essential employees”. Please accept this note of thanks! I am fortunate to be purrfectly happy and content with my special food you’ve ordered for me!!!
